Hi Alex, I do like the idea of a training taikai as there are not many shinpan opportunities for kendoka up in the north of the UK. Perhaps you could make it one day for shinpan training, and another for an actual taikai. Only concern I'd have is that if you are judging kyusha that it may be harder ...
